Experience
I have been tutoring for five years now, two of which I was trained by a tutoring company. I have a great deal of experience tutoring SAT Verbal. In addition to my experience, I have an English degree and love to help students with comprehension and writing. I find the writing process so enjoyable and love helping students find their writing style. I've also been a paraprofessional for the past three years, one year in 3rd and 4th grade, and the past two in a middle school so I am very familiar with various types of content as well as standards. On top of that, my Special Education background and experience seems to my biggest asset in successful tutoring because it has equipped me with patience and strategies to help struggling students achieve success in any area we work on together.
